No card reader found

If you select the tab PIN Management and no card reader is detected, AusweisApp2 will show the following screen:

Possible root causes:

• Sie haben aktuell keinen Kartenleser an Ihren PC angeschlossen.

• The driver for the card reader is not installed.

Install card reader

When a card reader is connected, yet no driver installed, the settings-pcsc-reader assists you in finding the correct driver for your card reader model.
