After the third false PIN entry, your online identification function is blocked.

How can I unblock it?

You can unblock it by entering your PUK, see section Unblock ID card PIN using the PUK. You can find it in PIN letter of Bundesdruckerei. The PUK does not allow to reset your PIN, but unlocks another three attempts to enter your PIN.

I have forgotten my PIN. What can I do now?

In case you have forgotten your PIN, you must either contact the authority responsible for issuing your identification document to generate a new online identification PIN or order a PIN reset letter in the app.
