No card found on card reader

If you select the tab PIN Management and no ID card is detected albeit the card reader is connected, AusweisApp2 will show the following dialog page:

Hint

ID card placed on card reader but is not recognized

When the ID card is not recognized, check its correct positioning on the card reader.
