After the third false PIN entry, your online identification function is blocked.

How can I unblock it?

You can unblock it by entering your PUK. You will find it in PIN letter of Bundesdruckerei.

Hint

I have forgotten my PIN. What can I do now?

In case you have forgotten your PIN, you must contact the authority responsible for issuing your identification document to generate a new online identification PIN. The PUK does not allow to reset your PIN, but unlocks another three attempts to enter your PIN.
