Where can I find the CAN?¶

After the second false entry you will be prompted to enter your Card access number (CAN) prior to the third attempt.

The Card Access Number (CAN) is a six-digit number on the front of your new ID card (see figure below).

What happens when I have released a third attempt with my CAN?

Should you enter the wrong PIN for a third time, the online identification function of your ID card will be blocked. If this is the case, you have to enter the Unblock ID card PIN using the PUK in order to identify yourself or change the PIN Change PIN.
