The diagnosis shows you your system information in four different categories:

  • AusweisApp2:

This category shows information about the AusweisApp2, the operating system and the used software libraries.

  • Card Readers

The tab Card readers shows information regarding the connected and detected card readers. This includes card readers connected with a USB connection as well as paired smartphones.

USB card readers typically implement the PCSC interface which is used by the AusweisApp2 to communicate with them. This section therefore contains information about the installed PCSC drivers.

  • Network

The AusweisApp2 can detect and use system proxy settings. Under the point “Proxy information” the detected proxy settings and the results of a connection test are shown.

Additionally all detected network interfaces, combined with their respective properties, are shown.

  • Antivirus and Firewall

When using the Windows operating system this category contains information about the installed antivirus software, installed firewall software and the firewall rules registered by the AusweisApp2 installation.

    Attention

These information cannot be accessed on macOS and are therefore not available.
